Description:
Jane, a registered nurse with a master's degree in health administration, has spent her life working to make the hospital experience better for patients. On November 1, 2007, she was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer, and she became a patient herself. In this ongoing series, Jane shares her experiences and emotions as she deals with her diagnosis, settles in for treatments, continues to work at the hospital where she is both a nurse and patient, deals with chemotherapy and hair loss, and works toward recovery. Rebecca Fox, the reporter and photographer, is Jane's daughter.
