There are currently more than 4,700 Illinoisans and 100,000 people nationwide waiting for lifesaving transplants. Our mission is to register Illinois residents as organ/tissue donors in the state's new organ donor registry to help save these lives.

Note: Illinois residents need to RE-REGISTER after Jan. 1, 2006 to ensure your wishes as a donor are honored.

6 million Illinois residents were signed up in the old registry. We are working to remind everyone about the crucial need to re-register after Jan. 1, 2006 to ensure your wishes as a donor are honored.

Donate Life Illinois is the coalition of statewide donation organizations currently working on a campaign to register 5 million Illinois residents as lifesaving donors in the new registry by April 30, 2009.
