It started as a pain in her abdomen. Yet even though doctors told her it was just normal post-delivery discomfort, mother of three Ayesha Lone knew something was going on. She was right. She returned to the hospital the day after to discover she had a retained placenta — after giving birth to her third child, part of her placenta had detached and was not removed during delivery.
