Jane, who has stage 3 breast cancer, talks about the importance of staying positive. Doctors diagnosed Jane November 1st, 2007. As someone who's worked in health care 30 years (registered nurse with a masters in health administration), Jane shares her story and observances to help others. At the time of this interview, she had already undergone a lumpectomy and lymph node excision.

Hi Jane....I think your observation about how many of the cancer survivors you've met have positive attitudes is very interesting - and true! Maybe it takes something so life changing.... like being diagnosed with cancer to change one's outlook and begin to look at life as a gift.
