Alzheimers Disease: Misconceptions

As you grow older, your body and abilities change. One of the challenges of growing older is keeping fit, both physically and mentally. While it's normal to lose some memory functions, dementia is not a normal part of aging. Dementia, which includes Alzheimer's disease and vascular dementia, are disease processes.

This is an interesting video, so many things change as you grow older and it's good to know that dementia isn't a necessary part of that process.

Excellent point about dimentia encompassing alzheimers and that this is not normal. It is a disease.
