This breast cancer survivor stars in her original comedic retrospective about her diagnosis and recovery. "For me the way out, the way to climb out was to laugh at it." In this video Gene talks about what's on the horizon in her life.

sandrasemail2003 says: HI Gene, So nice to meet you. I LOVE your mammologues...wish I'd thought of that. Brilliant...and it's nice to see someone else laughing about it. My great grandmother use to say, "You can laugh or cry." - And I've done both, but really, most of the time, it's a choice. We think there's a certain way we're supposed to react to cancer. My aunt survived 16 years longer than the 6 months they gave her...and she credited humor. Thanks for sharing that you, too, sleep in a bra all the time. It's the one oddity that I can't believe I feel good about because I was sooooo looking forward to going without a bra! Instead of a security blanket, I have a security bra! ...and I love your accent. I'm originally from North Carolina! All the *breast*, Sandra Gahlinger http://www.tittyology.com

glaveg says: For me, laughter has always taken the power out of a bad situation, but you are right, it IS hard to laugh at cancer. I worried about that when I presented the show, and hope that most people realize that what works for one may not work for another. No matter what...cancer sucks!!!
