M. D. Anderson Cancer Newsline: Rak Functions as a Tumor Suppressor

A team led by Shiaw-Yih Lin, Ph.D. of The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center has discovered a new tumor-suppressing protein that stymies breast cancer. They report in Cancer Cell that the Rak protein protects another important tumor-suppressor called PTEN from destruction. Video by Deborah E Thomas
