Patients with melanoma typically: 1.) are in their 40's or 50's, 2.) did not know a suntan was lethal, or 3.) did not know a changing mole could be a life-altering event. In addition to causing cancer, the sun is no friend to the aging process. Use SPF 15 or 30, every day - whenever exposed to the sun.
