Her story: Vivian’s story begins with a Spanish proverb, “When one door closes, another opens.” Vivian wants to encourage women and Latinas specifically that HIV/AIDS is not a death sentence, that you should stay positive about being positive. She hopes that everyone will empower and take care of themselves by getting tested and educated about the disease.
