Difference Between Bipolar and Schizophrenia

What's the difference between schizophrenia and bipolar disorder? Bipolar is a mood disorder - a disruption of mood varying from extreme highs (mania) to extreme lows (depression). Schizophrenia, in contrast, is a psychotic illness - out of touch reality, paranoid, delusional, disorganized thoughts.
