Multiple Sclerosis, or MS, is a disease that affects the central nervous system – that means your brain and spinal cord. Researchers believe it may be due to an autoimmune disease. That’s when the body attacks itself for some unknown reason. MS damages the lining of nerve cells, which in turn disrupts communication between the brain and other parts of the body. Symptoms of MS ranges from mild to complete life disruption.

For a class we had to use music audio as well as spoken audio and create a slideshow video of something important in our lives using pictures of ourselves for the majority of the video. I chose Multiple Sclerosis because I was diagnosed with it in 2003. The music audio is a clip of Yo-Yo Ma and the spoken audio is me reading a poem I wrote about having MS.
