I don't agree. If you are going for a certain type of bodybuilder look then weight training without stretching might be best for that look. But you are compromising joint mobility and will likely have many more problems later in life with degenerative arthritis, spinal disk problems, fluid circulation related conditions etc. Therefore, it say don't do it. For youthful vibrant health, keeps your muscles both toned and flexible (a different type of toned look) through yoga or other strength / flexibility combination modalities.
