Hospital Daze

Added: October 20, 2007 | Time 05:02 | Views: 270,106

On July 27, 2007, I woke up from a deep nap disoriented, not sure what year it was and quite sure somone had taken the time to slightly rewrite all of my entries on Twitter. Darlene and the doctor agreed this was odd enough to warrant a trip to Presbyterian St. Luke's Medical Center in Denver, where I was kept overnight for tests. This video chronicles my confusion and its resolution.

I guess it goes to show that there isn't a scientific explanation that we know of for everything. It was great that he had such an optimistic and positive attitude throughout the whole experience.

I did not include the specifics of the doctor's diagnosis in this video, out of deference to my wife. But for the purpose of this health-related forum, I'll say that my episode followed some pleasurable exertions before our deep sleep. Dr. said this can sometimes do it. All tests afterward were OK.

I don't think he was trying to be funny. I hope he does some follow us stuff and doesn't take this too lightly.

I know that would scare me if that happened. Was he trying to be funny with that CAT scan thing? IF not, he was really having some problems.

Don't you want to hear some sort of answer for your disorientation? I know things just happen sometimes but I want answers!
