What is Lupus?

Added: August 6, 2008 | Time 00:43 | Views: 714

Lupus is an autoimmune disease that can affect many parts of your body…that means, for some unknown reason, your body attacks healthy cells and tissues. Lupus comes in many forms; depending on which one you have, the symptoms will vary. You may have joint pain or swelling, muscle pain, fever with no known cause, and red facial rashes. Lupus is more common in African American, Hispanic, Asian, and Native American women. Researchers do not know what causes lupus. Watch more video about lupus or share your story or experience on video with icyou.
