Dr. Simon Rabinowitz identifies the long term solution for constipation in children is dietary. The two features that are important to understand: high fluid and high fiber. More specifically, high fiber cereal in the morning, white to whole wheat bread for sandwiches at lunch, and a starch with dinner that is high in fiber.
