Child Maltreatment Increases In Army Families When One Parent Is Deployed To Combat

Everyone knows parenting is one of the hardest jobs there is. And it gets even harder when the other parent is deployed to combat in Iraq or Afghanistan. In fact, a new study says that during such deployment, there’s more child maltreatment by the spouses left behind with the kids.
