My name is Angie... I am a 41 yr old woman and I was born with spina bifida, and at age 5 I had a illeostomy put in.. I call it a urostomy and well I have suffered from chronic uti's.. And well treated with antibiotics, well I became immune to them later in my teens..I still get them . How can I stop these? I now have no bladder. The doctors when did the urostomy said they removed it.. My urologest now did a scan and found the bladder or a peice of it..I had a female surgery to burn all my female organs I dont know the technical terms I'm sorry..And she found the bladder or what was left of it and also burned it.. So what I am asking what can be done to stop these infection,, I have ivps to check the kidneys to make sure this hasnt been any damage.. LUCKY so far no issues.
Also can the fact that I had alot of surgeries cause this? I have had 87 in my life..

Thank you

Angie
